Join on this 8km round trip hike through our coastal rain forest. Emerge on top of the bluff overlooking Seymour Narrows and the site of the historic Ripple Rock explosion. Tour includes transportation from our office, lunch on the bluff, and an experienced guide and naturalist. Let our guide share knowledge of the local history.
This is a moderate hike, trail is well maintained, however there are some fairly steep hills, and uneven terrain. Comfortable hiking shoes and water are required.
Duration:
This trip is approximately 6 Hours, however depending on the fitness level of the group this is subject to be slightly shorter or longer.

Is this trip for me?
While this trail is rated as moderate, we consider it closer to intermediate. There is uneven terrain, loose rock, and some steep climbs. Please see attached photos of the trail for a better idea. While there are steep sections, the overall gain in elevation is not much. While on the trail we have encountered everyone from young children to people well into their eighties.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation up to 4 people (7 day notice required for groups larger than 4 people). Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price. All trips are subject to fees and taxes.
